Day 1 – Saturday October 10, 2026
Travel to venue, pick-up at Lisbon International Airport, shuttle to the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort & registration. Welcome Dinner Cocktail and Team Presentations!
Day 2 – Sunday October 11, 2026
Full breakfast in Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort’s Cobalt restaurant, Warm-up Round on the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort golf course, full lunch in Resort’s clubhouse restaurant.
Day 3 – Monday October 12, 2026
Full breakfast in Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort’s Cobalt restaurant, Round 1 on the West Cliffs golf course, with lunch pack.
Day 4 – Tuesday October 13, 2026
Full breakfast in Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort’s Cobalt restaurant, Round 2 on the on the Praia D’El Rey golf course, with lunch pack.
Day 5 – Wednesday October 14, 2026
Full breakfast in Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort’s Cobalt restaurant, Final Round on the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort golf course, full lunch in Resort’s clubhouse restaurant, Prize Ceremony & Farewell Dinner.
Day 6 – Thursday October 15, 2026
Full breakfast in Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort’s Cobalt restaurant, shuttle to Lisbon International Airport, travel back home.
Pro-Am Format
The Peninsula Challenge – Your Pro-Am under the Pines 2026 will be competed over 4 rounds (1 warm-up round and 3 counting rounds). Teams must consist of 1 professional and 3 amateurs.
- Team component: Four player best ball / 4BBB (with handicap index) – the 2 best scores in every group are kept in every hole.
- Pro-component: Individual stroke-play
All players must have a valid Hcp of 36 or better following the World Handicap System. Players hcps will be adjusted at 85% for Two Best Ball of Three Rounds. All professionals will compete as scratch.

- Visit the picturesque village of Óbidos, nestled within the medieval castle wall, just 10 minutes from the resort
- Spend a resting moment at one of the 2 pools available in the resort (one out-door and one in-door)
- Relax and revitalize at the Mandalay Spa in the resort
- Sweat it out at the sport court, at one of the 2 outdoor tennis courts, and fitness center
- Enjoy strolling around the nearest beaches, with some of the world’s hottest surf spots, including Supertubos, and Nazaré, the stage of the biggest waves in the world
- Visit a winery nearby : Portugal’s wine is not very famous abroad, but it is one of the best in the world
- Visit Sintra and the Pena Palace, home at times of the former Portuguese royal family
- Visit a sanctuary, monastery or convent – Sanctuary of Fátima (about 1 hr away), Capuchos Convent (Colares), Monastery of Santa Clara (Sintra), Penha Longa Convent
